Prehistoric Planet Pack Test Run! Patch Notes And First Impressions
20This VOD is the 1st part of my test run for the Prehistoric Planet Pack for Oxygen Not Included! In this video, we get our first look at all of the new DLC content, including new critters, plants, biomes, duplicants, and the Demolior asteroid that threatens to destroy a decent chunk of our starting planet! We have a thorough look at the patch notes and find a few important quality of life changes in there. Overall the plan is to shoot down the asteroid so we can have a look at the new space POI and snag a ne achievement in the process. Cycles 1-12 are in this video.
The aim of this run is for learn about all of the new DLC content so that we can see how it might fit into future base designs, particularly when the Relica biomes are shuffled into more normal asteroid types. Apologies for the minor performance issues; not sure whether this is due to the new DLC, uninstalling mods, OBS issues, or it just being a bit too hot in the UK. They do get better as the run continues.
