I rise from my grave, as a new Smash is upon us! These replays came from the first weekend Super Smash Bros. Ultimate went live, captured before the recent update! Unfortunately, this replay feature doesn't save player names or anything, so I can't properly identify players. I can only really remember who I was in these, so sorry in advance!

Match 1: Saffron City (Omega)
Ridley (me) vs. Zelda vs. Lucario vs. Bowser

Still getting used to Ridley but I felt pretty good about this match! Player 4 probably doesn't feel the same...they don't seem to get how to recover. I'm mostly keeping this because I managed to land Ridley's Down Special, Skewer, and get that critical hit. SO much damage...though Zelda was already hurt to begin with!

Match 2: Venom
Ridley (me) vs. Inkling vs. Ganondorf vs. King K. Rool

We go from free-for-alls on an Omega stage to free-for-alls with items! That's how matchmaking is though...here's hoping they make that a bit more...consistent. Venom is...not a stage I really missed all that much, honestly. Kinda came down to the wire between me and Ganon.

Match 3: Shadow Moses Island
Ridley (me) vs. Snake (YuuGiJoou)

And now we'll transition to friend matches! Jo here was trying to get a Codec call, or at least see what would happen otherwise. The Colonel's Japanese voice actor passed a way some time ago and it's likely out of respect for him that Cambell wasn't recast and new Codecs were made, but we wanted to see anyway. Really funny death at the end of this one.

Match 4: Bridge of Eldin
Incineroar (YuuGiJoou) vs. Incineroar (me) vs. Sonic vs. Snake

Here we're joined by our other two friends...I can't remember who they played as, but I know Jo was player one here. Incineroar's a strange character; bad mobility but good damage and strong throws. And again, a fun way to end this match.
