Learning the Meta (Knight) - Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Match 1: Super Happy Tree
Yoshi (me) vs. Pit (Jo) vs. Snake (Maidens)
I don't consider Yoshi one of my better characters, but I'm surprised how I almost turned it around here. Woulda been nice for Snake to NOT get that Assist Trophy here...
Match 2: Fourside
Fox (Maidens) vs. Daisy (me) vs. Villager (Overhazard) vs. Rosalina (Jo)
I really missed Fourside, and it looks gorgeous in Ultimate. Overhazard dropped in for a few games here and I was lucky enough to save some replays with all of us together. I am...more than a little proud of that throw combo with Daisy at the end. I'm sure that's not a true combo or anything but it FELT GOOD.
Match 3: Venom
Zero Suit Samus (Maidens) vs. Cloud (Jo) vs. Simon (me) vs. Dark Pit (Overhazard)
So yeah uh, Simon and Richter's axes are a PROBLEM on this stage in particular. They can already go through turrain and with how Venom is shaped, it makes it really hard to approach them. As a trade-off though, your Cross won't work nearly as well I guess. Sorry for the camera foibles here. My hand slipped on the controller and it took a bit to right everything.
Match 4: Prism Tower
Ice Climbers (Maidens) vs. Wii Fit Trainer (Jo) vs. Meta Knight (me) vs. Lucas (Overhazard)
Another gorgeous stage that I'm glad to see brought in from the 3DS version of Smash 4! I don't consider Meta Knight one of my better characters either, but I did OK with him. And wow did he get a cool new Final Smash!
It'll take a few more videos, but I eventually switch to live recordings, so no more dealing with replays and their lack of proper information and whatnot. Just gotta work through that backlog...until then, Happy Smashing!
