Wuchang Boss Guide: Ming General the Easy Way (Feather Build)
0Tried a bunch of different approaches — Longsword can work too — but with my Feather build and the evasive move from the Dark Edge sword, it’s way easier to escape his spear attacks. Here's how I handled it:
Phase 1
Keep your distance to trigger his running 3-jump attack.
Dodge towards him during the jumps. After the third one, cast either Shriek or the Spear spell I’m using.
When he goes into his spear combo, use the evasive move repeatedly until he stops.
As soon as he finishes turning, cast one spell only, then back off again — don’t get greedy.
Phase 2
When he jumps, he always follows up with one sword attack.
After that, you’ve got a safe window to cast one spell.
You can trigger this loop again by creating distance so he jumps.
If he gets close, use evasive move until he backs off — never start dodging when he swings. Dodge only when he leaps.
💡 Side Note
You need to have at least one Feather at all times to trigger the evasive move quickly. But if you time it right, the fight becomes a lot easier with this strategy.
I put all my nodes in feather dmg, and all might nodes.
