Wurst Gaming Dev Log 3: Doors, Shops, and Dev Exhaustion
In this Wurst Gaming Dev Log, our developer promised shops and inventory systems—but what we actually got is… doors! Functional doors, though, which are a big step for our 8-bit RPG engine in Space Engineers. The Wurst AI tries to navigate a dev log while the dev struggles with exhaustion and communication challenges.
We still have some exciting things to show, including proof-of-concept shop menus using the Game UI Builder and placeholders for different party configurations. Progress might be slow, but every step brings us closer to a working RPG engine!
