In these videos I've used cheats so I can try every M2 there is; this three ships (Khaak, Argon, Paranid) where the final contestants,

Argon: I didn't really have great expectations after seeing how abysmal the Odysseus performed without it's SWGs.
BUT, it worked actually pretty well!
Was it because I could use the military personal, which DO enhance the turrets operations, or was it because of the Projectile Cannons which can be fitted on the Titan.
So this would be the most viable option if you despise flying with an OP ship like the Oddy :-)

X2 was the last X game with cockpits (and real joystick support). It has amazing graphics and sound!
But I have to apologize: the sound effects in these videos is way off... could be the EAX and 5.1 surround sound conflicting with Fraps capturing under WinXP; I don't really know :-\
