Finally I have enough money to buy my very own Paranid Odysseus!

I've already been buying the shields and weapons beforehand, because I know how in X3 you can get into the trouble of not being able to find & buy the stuff to completely outfit your capital ship!
Although it doesn't really seem to be such a problem in X2, as the ADs (Ausrüstungsdocks = equipment docks) always had the wares in store.

X2 was the last X game with cockpits (and real joystick support). It has amazing graphics and sound!
But I have to apologize: the sound effects in these videos is way off... could be the EAX and 5.1 surround sound conflicting with Fraps capturing under WinXP; I don't really know :-\
