ElGato rec. Pre-August update gameplay. While this happens in every Hero vs Hero encounter, I felt the "rock, paper, scissors" combat effect seemed more prevalent here! Vid timeline:

(6:05) Match Begins.

We play as:

First player: Iden Versio.
Blaster: Iden's TL-50.
Abilities: Droid Shield, Pulse Cannon, Stun Droid.
Boost Cards: Shock Reach, Cooled Blaster, Friend in Battle.

Second player: Leia Organa.
Blaster: Leia Organa's Defender Pistol.
Abilities: Flash Grenade, Rapid Fire, Squad Shield.
Boost Cards: For the Rebellion, Blinding Reveal, Laser Brain.

During this fight, it became apparent that Leia had the mid to short range advantage, while Iden is more of a mid to long range combatant. That was pretty much confirmed, when I found out Iden has a Pulse Cannon Sniper Rifle as one of her abilities.

Didn't seem like Blinding Reveal did much for the Flash Grenade. Perhaps in Co-op would be better. Blinded then, would be my pick next time.

Of course, the Assault Rifle really rocked. And I didn't even reinforced it with any Cards! Instead, I choose Laser Brain for the Defender Pistol's alternate fire, for snipping purposes. It reminded me of the ARC Trooper's Power Shot. Had it been a more crowded environment, I would have chosen Relentless Firing.

The Squad Shield worked because I could use to to protect myself while waiting for my bots to support me by taking out those who where firing at the shield. AI Bots apparently don't try to close and attempt to take me out from within. Instead, they hang outside with the intent of knocking the shield out.

Didn't foresee all this prior. Although I guess I was lucky my opponent didn't hit the shield with the Ion Shot.

Lastly, the For the Rebellion, is the card that's going away. Is the typical +20 health points earned when defeating anything other than a Hero, then +100 for Heroes... that everyone has, except Boosk. A new distinct Card is to be given in return!

Will check all that in our next gameplay. But for now, this is our last play before that update.
