Xbox Series X Devs Details Getting 120FPS & Performance | PS5 A Paradigm Shift In Gaming Says Sony
863Xbox Series X has enough horse power, thanks to the Zen 2 based CPU and its 16 threads, the RDNA 2 based GPU and SSD to hit up to 120FPS in games. Dirt 5 will take full advantage of this, with the developer explaining that the machine is very easy to develop for.
Xbox's Phil Spencer has already confirmed that the console will be price sensitive, and the sales figures of the Xbox Series X aren't as important to Microsoft as getting folks into the Xbox ecosystem.
The Playstation 5 will be a paradigm shift says Sony's Jim Ryan. The PS5 also uses AMD's GPU technology, based on custom RDNA 2 silicon and a Zen 2 based CPU. According to Ryan, the PS5 will allow developers to do things which hadn't been possible before.
Meanwhile, Jim Keller has left Intel after two years in the company, but will for the next 6 months remain with the company as a consultant.
