In this part of Xcom Enemy Unknown, we play our first council mission, also known as a terror mission. We continue playing at the classic ironman difficulty, which the game may be best known for through the modern area. Additionally, in this classic ironman playthrough, we continue to build up the base and put out satellitess in order to continue to reduce panic and help the xcom project. We also continue to research and autopsy the various types of aliens as we continue in the game. thank you for all of the support on the xcom series. About the Game:
XCOM is a turned based strategy game that was originally created and released in 1994, with the reboot, XCOM Enemy Unknown, was released in 2012 with a new twist on the series. Turn-based strategy games are those in which you move and attack in one turn, then the computer or other player retaliates once you have finished your move, similar to chess. We are playing XCOM Enemy Unknown which is the prequel to XCOM 2 and also has a very popular add on of XCOM Enemy Within. XCOM Enemy Unknown has four difficulties: Easy, Normal, Classic, Impossible (We are playing Classic); however, all are difficult and can become even more difficult with the Ironman mode enabled as well. Additionally, the focus of the game is on the single player gameplay and story, which can very in length due to having to research and upgrade soldiers in order to match the difficulty increase throughout the game. The game is a very difficult turn-based strategy game which has even spawned a new sub-genre in the category labeled as "XCOM Games" similar to Dark Souls. Overall, the game is a turn-based strategy game that involves upgrading the base and soldiers in order to counter what the computer throws at you as you move further into the game as a whole.
