Hello again.

With our new shiny armor, I decided that it is time to assault the Alien Base. It definitely isn't going to be short, so we'll see what happens.

Did you ever meet the person who decides to ruin your mood anyway despite your own trying to prevent a situation like that because you don't need problems with unnecessary rude answers and being aggressive without any reason? Yeah, that's Tezzix.
Born in USA, Tezzix happened to become a new republic's citizen. Quite a lot of people were left on their own, separated from dwindling American resources. Tezzix happened to be in a well-off family, so his self-esteem rose to astronomical levels. Nobody in his school liked him genuinely, because of his own pride and entitlement for being the ultimate.
When Tezzix tried to force the republic's government to serve him because he was seeing himself as a god (it stemmed from his insane playtime in multiplayer games) in 2040, country leaders weren't impressed. They decided to get rid of the dissident by sending him to XCOM.
Even in XCOM Tezzix decided that he's the best. But this attitude will lead him to conflicts with a lot of people there, including First Alien War veterans, their children and actually decent people.
If Heike Wagnerson existed in this timeline as her Enemy Unknown version, she would get tired of him and get him executed.
He likes to insult people. He hates when somebody doesn't oblige to his orders (and a lot of people decide to resist his insane claims).

Nickname: Quiet Horror

Country: Scandinavia
Victoria was, just like Ludwig "Spikemaker" Beorn, a member of Cult-Inquisitors religious war. Compared to Ludwig, though, she was on the side of the Cult of Sirius.
She did meet Ludwig though on the battlefield. Despite the war, she somehow fell in love with him on the first sight. Maybe because of that minigun Spikemaker used. The same can't be said for Ludwig Beorn.
When the war ended, almost every government began hunting for Cult of Sirius because they inflicted a major damage to their infrastructure as a result of their war. Victoria was captured and imprisoned.
She wanted to set herself free. She was given the Makar's treatment - serve in XCOM, earn an amnesty. She was assigned in the same unit as Ludwig. Ludwig did recognize the girl.
Their relationship is definitely complicated, to say the least. Their morale and objectives clash, but yet Victoria gets even deeper in mad love towards Ludwig.
She likes sea. She hates that Earth isn't under the alien rule.
