Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Part 100 (Final Boss): Moving Forward Against Artifice Aion
Rex, Pyra, and all of their friends had finally reached Elysium. However, Elysium was now nothing by a desolate shadow of its former self.
They were instead rewarded with a divine intervention by their god and creator of Alrest, The Architect Klaus, who then explained to the group the entire backstory of their own existence and how he brought it all upon being.
At present, Klaus feared that his new world would repeat the same mistakes and failures of mankind as his original world did, which is why he allowed one of his Aegis children, Logos a.k.a. Malos, to take control of Artifice Aion and achieve Amalthus' ultimate goal of destroying Alrest.
However, Klaus was slowly having a change of heart about changing fate, thanks to the special bond Rex made with another one of his Aegis children, Pneuma, who was now the awakened form of Pyra and Mythra. The Conduit, which Klaus once used to change but destroy his universe, was now moving once more thanks to this bond that was once thought unbelievable by even The Architect, himself.
Now, with the full power of Pneuma, Rex, and all of his friends that have traveled with him through this entire story, must use this Conduit power to stop Malos before it and the Architect disappear from the death of his other half in a different universe...

The final spot in the game is the Wall Control Panel at the Aion Hanger Entrance. If you proceed on with this, there is no turning back.
To emphasize how serious this fight is, if you fall against this final boss, you will get a TRUE Game Over and return to the title screen.
When you're ready, march on...
----------
When Rex and his friends approached Malos in the next room, he decided to imitate Akhos for a moment. Even when Nia showed remorse over the deaths of him, Patroka, and even Jin, Malos did not weep, for he knew that death was what they longed for all this time.
Malos was too far gone to reject Amalthus' dark influence on him. He was more focused on how Jin had lost everything in his own life, except for his own life, all because he didn't want to lose his memories of Lora. Such a curse laid upon Jin had made Malos disgusted with the nature of the world, and with himself... But it was far too late to turn back now.
Malos, the Logos Aegis of The Architect, with no further thoughts or roles but to be the divine justice of Alrest, activated the ultimate Artifice, Aion, and challenged Rex, Pneuma, and everyone else that stood before him... to show him what their roles are in the world they all share!
----------
DO NOT worry about range too much in this fight. Even if your characters are hitting empty air, they're still hitting Aion regardless.
Aion can use all 8 Elements in this game in their most purest forms, and each of them wield different Seals just like your Blade Combos. For example, the Ice-based Blizzard will prevent your party from healing for a few seconds, while the Water-based Anthropos will inflict Shackle Blade AND Blade Affinity Down.
If Malos uses "War of the Servants" he is summoning Colossus Artifices to deal with you. Take them down first, and then you can fight Aion again.
Bring Aion's HP down to 2/3, and another cutscene will play.
----------
Everyone continued to fight on with all of their might, and even as Malos continued to push them back, they all continued to fight on.
Rex was determined to stop Malos from destorying the world with all of the Artifices, but Malos was still convinced that Alrest was to corrupt to change, and that destroying it all is his final solution. All of the world leaders did their best to evacuate their people and send their soldiers to fight off the Artifice threats.
Rex still had hope that the world CAN be changed, and that HE had the power to bring forth that change, and that Jin never wanted to die, but to bond and connect and understand Malos' pain. At one point, Malos was one to forgive the past sins of others, as well...
Back at The Architect's Room, he observed what was happening to his other half. And who was his other half...?
It was Zanza. He was reaching the end of his life, because much like Rex himself, a young man in Zanza's universe, Shulk, realized that one's fate was not predetermined, and gained the power to slay that god and change the future.
Realizing this, The Architect urged Rex to hurry, for Zanza's end would soon lead to his own...
----------
When you regain gameplay, this is when you can go on finish off Malos once and for all. You NEED to keep your healing in check AND prepare a massive Chain Attack, or else when Aion's HP gets low enough, Malos will use an attack that can wipe our your entire party!
----------
Aion was eventually pushed back, so Rex and Pneuma went for a final spectacular Art. With the help of Artifice Siren, they unleashed upon Aion... the *INFINITY BLADE!!!*
Not even Aion could survive the attack, and Malos was rejected from it with a damaged Core Crystal...
