6The Landfill Dreamland had another signal from its biggest kettle. The Agents believed it was coming from Cuttlefish, again, but alas...
Here comes Shiver! As the Cold-Blooded Bandit of Deep Cut, she fights your Agent 3 by riding on her massive shark, Master Mega!

They will be swimming in their own ink around the around, attacking with ink waves for you to dodge.
They will then go in for a bottom attack to swallow you whole. If you remember how to beat Maws in Salmon Run, you just gotta toss a Splat Bomb, or in this case Smallfry, right in the circle of where Mega is gonna chomp. That will prop him up from the floor letting you splat him up close. Another close attack is that Mega will try to dash at you with his mouth open. Try throwing something in his range, too.
You can also try and splat Mega while he's swimming in the blue ink. If he's completely covered, he'll toss Shiver off. Splat her, and you'll finally damage this boss for real.
After this first real damage, Master Mega will now star hoppinh on ink twisters to prepare for a high-pressured ink beam. If you damaged Shiver after this, then Mega will do this up to three times.
You just have to splat Shiver up to three times to win this fight!

When Shiver tries to make a fancy getaway, she accidentally drops her bomb next to Master Mega, sending them both flying away helplessly.
Also, that signal... Unfortunately, still no sign of Cuttlefish, but you'll find some other kind of contraption to bring back to the others.
Cuttlefish then tries to talk with his granddaughters again. He's still locked up, and he still can't find his way out... and there's someone else there with him...
It was Mr. Grizz, the founder of Grizzco Industries Inc. Your boss in Salmon Run! He's held Cuttlefish hostage? Why?!
The signal was lost, again. But maybe the next one will lead to Cuttlefish. Callie and Marie's grandpa is still in danger, and now we may know his culprit!

So here's the summary of the 4th Alterna Log:
Alterna's development was growing soundly over the years. The scientist that helped found this new land have now become their people's wise elders. They were ready to pass their knowledge on to a younger generation.
This next generation was born and raised entirely in Alterna compared to their predecessors, but they were just as eager to expand their intelligence. However, they also sought to see beyond Alterna's boundaries, despite the warnings of their elders of what lied beyond their cavern home.
Regardless, the younger scientists proceeded on with their plan to escape from Alterna and discover what lied beyond it. Unfortunately, in their first attempt to escape using a rocket ship, the rocket's boosters triggered a violent chain reaction to Alterna's liquid crystals.
The cave collapsed in on itself, killing the people of Alterna, and the last remaining embers of humanity's past. Even the few that survived this tragedy... would still soon meet their ends, as well...
