*PLEASE READ THE FULL DESCRIPTION*

This video is another video of fanservice, and I'm not talking about some of the female Blades design. I mean more about how Shulk & Fiora are able to be in this game, at all.

Otherworldly Fighters is another Archsage challenge that features a character from a previous game. In this case, it's Elma, the main *named* protagonist of Xenoblade Chronicles X.

To reach Elma, you must first make sure that all the main Drivers and their main Blades are somewhere in the full party, AND Shulk & Fiora must be included within them.
----------

Elma steps into the simulated field of Uraya, gazing at what she saw of it. Apparently a Nopon trader from her world led here into this simulation to test her abilities.

When Rex and his team step into the field, Elma suddenly attacked them, because in her eyes, the only thing she saw of them was of her enemies, the Prone, even if there were some inaccuracies.
----------

I can't sugarcoat it, she was pretty rough to fight. I was mainly focused on trying to get as many Elemental Orbs on her as possible before getting rid of her through a Chain Attack, but she has an Awakened state that further boosts her attacks.

If you really don't care for bragging right, I'd suggest just using Custom Difficulty and toning Elma down. Then that should help to defeat her.

My party was higher leveled, but these Archsage challenges will force a level cap on you.

Even then, Elma's most feared Art is Ghost Factory, where she created copies of herself. They have less HP than her, but they can still hit hard on their own and extend the battle over all. You just HAVE to beat them, first.

But this is why I made Poppi QTπ a Dark Blade. Finishing a Blade Combo with a Level 3 Dark Special will trigger Seal Reinforcements, which literally disables Elma's Ghost Factory. However, this seal will be replaced as soon as you use a Blade Combo with a different seal. So you need to plan when you think Elma will use another Ghost Factory.
---------

Although this video ended in a failure, I did eventually win this challenge. Unfortunately, while sorting out my videos, I accidentally got rid of the one that had me doing just that. I am terribly sorry for that.

But I'll try to explain what happens next after you do win this challenge.

Elma realized that her simulation was more than just a simulation. It was as if a part of her whole soul was brought into the Archsage's dimension, while her body was still in some kind of pod back in her home of New LA.

The Archsage was impressed to see Elma, Rex, and even Shulk all together in his place, sensing that they were all heroes, legends, of their own worlds with their own grand stories to tell.

However, much like Shulk & Fiora's situation, Elma wasn't able to properly bring herself to Alrest to see the rest of Rex's world. So for now, you can just keep using her for Archsage battles.

But the next video will show off the exact battle you need to win to let her do that, and its simply just a harder version of Otherworldly Fighters.
