This is video #034 in my gameplay series of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 for the Nintendo Switch.

Previously, the party continued exploring the Great Cotte Falls, Pentelas Region. In the north of the First Cataract, they carried out the standard quest "The Cascade Hulk" and rebooted the Cascade Ferronis Hulk. In a lower lagoon to the west, they defeated the Frolicking Parker, a unique Ottil. They also explored the Cotte Trick Ruins and defeated the Phantasmagorical Rist, a unique Medooz. Then, the party progressed south from the Cascade Ferronis Hulk and entered the next area, the Old Cliffside Way. Scenes showed Silvercoat Ethel in a difficult position. After more scenes, the party signed off at the Old Way Camp rest spot.

The party resumes at the Old Way Camp in the Old Cliffside Way. They skip travel to Clearwater Shelf in Colony Lambda.

The party talks to Commander Isurd in his office for a scene. This begins Isurd's Hero Quest, "Unwavering Resolve". Isurd temporarily joins the party as a Hero. The next destination is Mine No. 3 in the Urayan Tunnels.

The party skip travels to Myrna Gate, the entrance to the Urayan Tunnels west of the colony. As they head west into the mines, a scene takes place. The party must make their way around to a collapse. There are now aggressive Scorpox in the tunnels.

To the north, there is an elite monster and a rare item. A Level 37-ish Keves Squad is to the south.

West of the entrance, the party pushes a couple of supports into the pit to form a bridge and a shortcut. There is a Container to the west.

In Mine No. 3, the party goes up Elevator No. 3 in the northwest to the Stoneyard. They backtrack through the Quarry Road passage. In the southwest, they climb a ladder and find an Ether Channel. They also find a Container.

To the east, the party takes Elevator No. 2 down. They move aside the fallen rock for a scene.

The party continues to Mine No. 2. There, they find six Drifter Scorpox to take out.

A scene takes place after the enemies are down. The next destination is Isurd's office in Colony Lambda.

The party farms three Ether Channels in Mine No. 2.

Then, they skip travel to Clearwater Shelf in Colony Lambda. They approach Isurd in his office for a cutscene. The next destination is the Cave at Pira Bluffs.

The party leaves the colony. They head to the Cave at Pira Bluffs to the south and then east. An event takes place when they arrive. Looks like trouble.

The party enters the Cave at Pira Bluffs for a boss battle against two Armadillo Levnises. Not exactly pushovers.

Another scene takes place after the battle. "Unwavering Resolve" complete! Isurd joins the party as a Hero. Taion inherits Isurd's class, Strategos. I saw that coming a mile away.

The party skip travels to Colony Lambda. They now have Collectopaedia Cards from Colony Lambda folks. They turn in Tulgrim's right away.

At the Lambda Shelter, the party levels up with bonus EXP. The main party has hit Level 40.

The party's affinity with Colony Lambda is now Rank 2. They talk to NPCs with new dialogue in the colony. The Traderpon is now available.

The party leaves the colony and heads southwest to the Hidden Freshwater Inlet secret area. There, they take on the Massive Georges, a unique Aligo. At Level 37, it is a powerful enemy for this stage of the game.

The party returns to the Lambda Shelter afterwards. At Level 40, they earn a new gem slot, skill slot, and master art slot. At camp, they upgrade a few more of their gems to tier III. They also cook some more Kerfluffled Torpedo Wrap.

Next time, the party will work on more Colony Lambda quests.
