This is video #036 in my gameplay series of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 for the Nintendo Switch.

Previously, the party carried out a few quests originating in Colony Lambda: "The Lost Off-Seer", "Lambda's Problem", and "Restart". Now, they will move on with the story.

The party resumes in Colony Lambda, Pentelas Region. There is a new quest available, but Level 42 is the suggested level, so the party will do it later.

The party skip travels to the Old Way Camp in the Old Cliffside Way. They approach the camp for a scene with Dorin and Bambam, the kids that ran away from Colony 4. This starts the standard quest "A More Balanced Recipe".

The first objective is to acquire some Bubblesia Nectar at Amoney's Hallows in the Great Cotte Falls. The party already has enough, so the quest automatically progresses to the next scene.

Next, the party goes up the stairs east of the camp and examines the "Tree" target. This triggers another scene. Yikes, what a big bug!

Afterwards, the party battles the Sweet Plambus. It is Level 37, so if your level is lower, you may want to save it for later. A scene takes place when the bug is down. The party obtains Fermenting Bug Juices.

The party returns to the Old Way Camp for another scene. "A More Balanced Recipe" complete!

The party talks to Loloka for "Nopon Register". She gives them a Yellow Nopon Pebble. Loloka's Collectopaedia Card is now available. The party also shops at the Old Way Caravan. At the camp, they level up with bonus EXP.

For the main story, the party climbs the stairs east of the camp and continues on. When they reach the Spring of Rhonnar, they go up the ramp to the east, then turn south to find a Container on a ledge.

They have found the materials to turn in the Collectopaedia Card for Dinkidinki of Colony 30.

The party continues on into the High Maktha Wildwood. A scene takes place as they arrive. Afterwards, they discover the Vista of Rhonnar landmark. They go south down the nearby ramp to find a Soldier's Husk under where they entered.

The party goes down the stairs to the north for another scene. Uh oh, some more trouble! This starts the Hero Quest "Natural Selection".

After the scene, it is boss time against the Mystery Agnus Ninjas. There are five Agnus Fighters to defeat. Agnus Fighter A has the most HP, so it is probably best to save her for last. Another scene takes place after the battle.

Afterwards, the party must follow the Mystery Agnian Trial through the wildwood. They go down a long stairwell that starts to their west.

A scene takes place as they approach a tightrope device. The party cannot follow right away, but there is an alternate route. They discover the Spring of Quarquaka location nearby.

Down the path to the south and east, they find a semi-hidden Container to the south.

As the party continues on, a scene takes place. After they meet Juniper, they discover Colony Tau. They discover the Colony Tau Entrance landmark as they enter. The Colony Tau, Crop Fields are east of the entrance.

As the party approaches the target marker, a scene takes place. Uh oh, monsters are coming.

The party approaches the northern entrance to the colony for a scene. After the scene, it is boss time against the Tau-Raiding Monsters, three Annon Rhinons. Juniper and some other Colony Tau soldiers participate in beating up the monsters.

A scene takes place after the battle. Colony Tau is liberated. "Natural Selection" complete! Juniper joins the party as a Hero. Noah inherits her class, Stalker, an attacker role. More importantly, the party obtains her traversal skill, Rope Sliding. They can now slide down those ropes they have seen at various places. The party earns "The Art of Flow", which allows canceling normal Arts into other normal Arts.

The party now has Collectopaedia Cards from Carson and Glory of Colony Tau. They have what they need to turn in Glory's.

Next time, the party will check around Colony Tau and perhaps move on.
