Xenoblade Chronicles DE: Part 13: The Monado's Power Speeds Forth
3After a more leisurely video of enjoying battles and quests on the Bionis' Leg, I finally go ahead and process through the plot by going to Raquel Bridge. Shulk, Reyn, and Sharla find Juju's buggy there, but the boy himself was missing.
Shulk had one more Vision where a Mechon takes, and likely kills Juju in a deep valley, if they follow their path towards Colony 6, they'll eventually reach that valley.

The path they take will eventually lead into the upper part of the Bionis' Leg, and there's STILL a lot more to find from this section of the titan.
After fighting through more Mechon along the way, they eventually reach the valley, and the worst was soon to come afterwards...
A Mechon, Model M71, a machine with many tentacles, was able to clamp down on Juju after he was confident of taking on the robots on his own. Sharla rushed in to try and said her little brother.
Shulk had one more Vision that saw Sharla getting killed by that Mechon from below!
From that point on, another new symbol appeared on the Monado. A voice had hope that Shulk would use this new power to save Sharla... and he did!
With the power of Monado Speed, Shulk granted Sharla the agility she needed to dodge the tentacle that would've killed her!
Through the power of the Monado, the three were able to get an advantage against the Mechon by dodging its attacks and destroying some of its tentacles.

In gameplay, Monado Speed increases the speed of one character per usage. This speed will increase the chances of them dodging attacks, especially fatal blows that Shulk sees in a Vision. Just be mindful that this only lasts for a few seconds.
First, attack the M71's tentacles, then go for the main body.
And this is just the first half of the fight. After damaging it enough, the Mechon moves up to the higher part of the valley with Juju, so the trio chase after them to continue and then finish the fight.
Although this change happens when it's down to half of its health, it regains it all in the second phase. Just remember to keep utilizing Monado Enchant and Speed as necessary.

Through their teamwork, Shulk, Reyn, & Sharla destroy the massive tentacle Mechon and save Juju in the process.
Sharla slapped Juju in the face for running off again and nearly getting himself killed, but afterwards, she was so relieved to just see her little brother in one piece again. Likewise, Juju now sees the error of his ways, apologizes to his sister and her friends for causing them all so much trouble.
But trouble was still brewing around them. They had just defeated a Mechon, but it wasn't the same Faced Mechon that Shulk saw in his Visions, and typically those Mechons are much more capable...
And that's when a Faced Mechon arrived into the scene, and it was STILL different from the one that attacked Colony 9. This one could talk, even! He then attacked the Homs!

The fight against this Faced Mechon is meant to be a hopeless. All you can really do is SURVIVE against him.
The giant Mechon grabbed Juju, and Shulk tried to fight him out of him, but the Monado was ineffective against the talking machine as it continued to mock and question why Shulk should even have the Monado.
When it looked like the Mechon was about to finish Shulk off, the red lights on his body were about to fizzle out. He saw that as a time to leave, but he still had Juju with him.
Shulk and his team are to go to Colony 6 to try and fight them again and save Juju once and for all.
