Xenoblade Chronicles DE: Part 59: Shutting Down the Apocrypha Generator
On the way towards the Apocrypha Generator, Shulk had a thought about Monado, its connection to the Bionis' Monado, the dream he had of his younger self, and how the Monado may have actually gotten stronger after the Apocrypha took effect...
Fiora was concerned about what Shulk's thoughts, but Shulk chose not to share them with her. She really wanted him to tell her and the others if anything was wrong, just as Reyn said to him, before. The two were slowing the rest down, so they had to catch up with them.
Shulk & Fiora seemed cheered up, now... but when Melia turned around and saw them pass by her, she felt down...

The whole team finally reached the Apocrypha Generator, but things went worse... The Mechonis' functions have been entirely restored!
With this, Egil used the machine titan and its sword to slash into the Bionis. Specifically its right shoulder that represented Valak Mountain.

The generator isn't a rough boss. I take it down relatively easy compared to the previous bosses I've gone through at this point.
When the Apocrypha Generator is shut down, the Monado powers up... and gains another Art: Monado Cyclone.
The Monado Cyclone is represented with a white blade. It should be the final Monado Art you get through the story, and his second-strongest one after Buster.

The next step was for the team to take on Egil himself. Alvis and Dickson will stay behind and wait for the rest of the team to finish this war. Dickson felt prepared for how things would go next, but Alvis wasn't entirely certain what could or would happen out of this battle...
