Right after Shulk and Reyn decide to head out to find Metal Face,a flashback plays to a snowy mountain 14 years ago. It seems a young Shulk and his parents were there,and everyone ended up dying somehow,save for Shulk. Dickson had found the boy,along with the Monado itself there. Anyway,back with Shulk and Reyn,the 2 decide that their 1st target should be Colony 6. To get there,they'll have to go through Tephra Cave first. Oh yeah,you can also use the Gem man's stall now to make Ether gems,if you have the right crystals to make 'em. Ether Gems can be equipped to weapon/armor slots to boost your parameters. On the way to Tephra Cave,I fought a named Monster called Evil Rhangrot,and another named monster in the cave called Mining Patrichev. The target is just near the Magmell Ruins,a new door should be open now. There's also some Side Quests you can accept from Defense Force Soldiers around here now. I know there's many more Quests to do back at Colony 9,but I'll focus on them more once I get my 3rd party member. Also,viewed a Heart-To-Heart scene just outside Tephra Cave for Shulk and Reyn.
