This was made using the in-game sprites as a reference. I added more in-betweens to make the animation smoother. There are 17 different drawings of X in this animation. Not counting the teleporting frames where X himself is basically no longer visible. Personally I have always preferred X's sprites from X4-5-6 and the stage clear themes from X5. Which ones are your favorites?
