The thing to remember here is to play it safe.
I use the thunder element for most of the stage and Asura Basura. Then I switch to ice to safely buster Herculious Anchus.
Grinding a few enemies seems to be necessary to meet the enemy requirement for the S-Rank.
As for the ... questionable... platforming rooms, there is no particular trick that I know of. The only way to do it is to do it. Let's just say that I really hated these stupid disappearing blocks.
For the final room before the boss, I suggest just moving ahead from enemy to enemy quickly without taking baby steps. Otherwise you'll take arcing projectiles to the head. Stun those bastards with the thunder element then move in quickly for the kill.
