Today's game is Operation Body Count. It was both developed and published by Capstone in 1994 and was released for DOS.

The story is pretty basic action movie/game affair. In the distant year of 2012, the UN Towers have been taken over by terrorists, capturing the world leaders that were holding a summit there. You play as a member of an elite force sent in to subdue said terrorists. The game starts as you enter the towers through a series of caves and maintenance tunnels, slowly working your way up to the towers themselves.

The gameplay is, for the most part, your average FPS title for the time. Run around mazes, kill enemies, gather health, ammo, armor, weapons, and move on to the next map. Once you get far enough, however, you run into something notably different for the time. When you get to the tower portion of the game, you can control members of your team (who apparently didn't have to fight off ROUSes) who have been sent into the towers as well. Environments can also be destroyed and caught on fire.

The music and sound effects are both alright. Nothing really special, but they're not terrible.

I'd say that if you like older FPS game, especially ones that feel similar to Wolfenstein 3D, you should give this a try. Even if you're not the biggest fan of these types of games, I'd say try it anyway. You never know.
