After having done so many maps recently I felt like making some music again. Where best to start than by listening to my previous stuff to see what worked and what didn't, along with a step-by-step video showing how they all came together?

Yes, Sir - 7th October 2010 - 30th December 2010

My 25th song. Wanted to try something a bit more trance-y, but without going down the route of making a 9 minute-long song with 3 minutes of backing-track either side. There is no hum-able melody in this song, it just flows from piece to piece with some faint jingles added dreamily into the background. For the percussion I deliberately made it cheesy, with lots of claps and cow-bells as I liked the way that the Pet Shop Boys did it in their 1987 album 'Actually'. They were able to have a lot of different instruments playing at the same time by making none of them particularly loud or dominant.
