It's a story driven turn-based combat rogue-like card battler. Plays fine, it seems to be more tilted towards player skill than being based on random luck or needing to acquire some over-powered item to win. The card features and combat mechanics are quite straightforward and should be a good starting point for someone new to the genre. Passive charm items add a bit of variety to your combat strategies. There's also a few permanent progression upgrades which is a nice touch.
