YOU CAN LOSE AT THIS CHEAT CODE (Vectorman, Sega Genesis) - Retrogaming Easter Eggs #segagenesis
0In Vectorman for the Sega Genesis, there's a fun little level skip code you can unlock during the interactive opening screen. The code initiates a mini game, but if you lose, YOU GET NOTHING.
On the opening screen with the SEGA logo, shoot the SEGA logo 24 times, then stand underneath it and jump to bump your head on the logo 12 times. This will activate a playable mini game where the letters of the SEGA logo will fall from the ceiling.
If you catch between 90 and 100 letters (inclusive) you will start the game on Day 5. if you catch more than 110, you will start the game on Day 10! If you don't catch enough, the game displays "NO BONUS" and it's all very demoralizing imo.
There's also a hidden TV screen just above the camera. If you stand to the right of the SEGA logo and shoot upward a few times, you can destroy it. Jump to where it once was to collect a powerup that can destroy the opening screen!
