Recently John Campea tweeted out a brand new Spider-Man photo that was not meant to leak. He even went ahead and put his John Campea watermark over the Spider-Man photo in order to get as many eyes on his product as possible. In a later tweet, he admitted the entire purpose was to get likes and that it didn't matter if the photo was real or not. This kinda crap is really starting to annoy me. He and plenty of other YouTube movie critics like The Fandom Menace (which includes Geeks + Gamers, The Quartering, etc) have their own type of grift. They fake outrage ever time a tiny piece of "woke" news hits the internet. This allows that to make hours of content on one topic that may or may not even be true and is almost always way overblown. In the past, I would shy away from calling these people out by name but 2021 has proven to me that even in the movie critic space, people will do anything for attention and a quick buck. I've had enough!
