This is a speedrun of Ys I Complete's Time Attack mode for the PC. It should be noted that there are some timing inconsistencies between this version and Chronicles/+, so a direct comparison between the two is hard to do (the most notable difference being able to immediately attack Vagullion in Complete, but not in Chronicles/+). Overall, I feel Complete is the superior choice with regards to Time Attack, and so I will continue to run that version.

With that, here are the individual times from this run, with my personal bests in parentheses (these may not be completely accurate, as I haven't tracked them as well as I have for Ys II):

For a while now, I've been thinking that a time of just under 3 minutes would be about the best one could reasonably expect to get for Ys I, but was unable to get very close to it, mostly because of Vagullion. Despite some slower than desired appearances this time around, he amazingly only did one fakeout the entire fight, making it one of my better times (I can't remember if it's my best or not, though - either way, there is still potentially ~30 seconds of improvement from him, but realistically, I expect only 5-10 seconds to ever come off this time). It should also be noted that my Dark Fact time here was only .56 seconds slower than what I was able to get during my TAS run (0:08:33), but usually I feel fortunate to get times of around 11 seconds for him, so replicating that is not going to be easy. Overall, I feel that below 3 minutes is definitely possible, but it will take an even heavier dose of luck than what I had this time around.
