I saved a simple trophy (Overwhelmed!; where you must "In multiplayer, launch a Dead Rush of at least 40 zombies with Brainhov.") for last so I could record it on my iPhone.

I never played the 1st one (assuming there was a previous title due to the "revenge" bit) but, this game was pretty fun. They story was LEGOesk with mainly grunting noises and cut-scenes... it gets the point across.

The graphics were pretty good and the gameplay was very smooth. I would classify this as a real-time strategy - which isn't my usual style these days. There were only 8 chapters and the maps were fairly small so finding all the collectibles was quite simple and made the game pretty short. There are challenge requirements for each chapter where you must complete a certain task before finishing the chapter. 2 of these was always simply complete the chapter and find all the collectibles. The other 3 were specific to events in their respective chapter. These challenges were sometimes quite tricky to pull off.

You can exploit the cloud save feature to an extent. Basically, when you reach a checkpoint, you can save & quit. Once back at the main menu, you can upload your save to the cloud. This is handy for the final boss fight and completing 2 of the chapter 8 challenges. If you goof up, you can simply hard quit the game back to the OS and re-launch the game... select continue and you are good to go to try again.

The multiplayer was a little shaky for me and very simple. I don't see many people spending a vast amount of time playing this online. Maybe some DLC down the road will make the mp a little more fun but, for now, it's get the trophies and don't look back, haha. All multiplayer trophies can be self boosted if you own the Vita version of the game. Since this game is a cross-buy, you get the PS3 version free. Simply download it and launch it from an alternate PSN account on your PS3. Send an invite to your main account (on Vita) and run through the requirements :D A couple quick hours (at most) and you'll have all the mp trophies.
