I saved a simple trophy (Sage's Trophy; where you must "All Spells Learned.") for last so I could record it on my iPhone.

I received this game as a gift from a friend a few years ago. It looked fantastic and I was quite excited to check it out. Well, I didn't like how they pitted you against a boss who was basically supposed to kill you right off the bat. It put me in a negative frame of mind before I even got into the game I stuck it out and put roughly 50 hours into the game. I made it through 7 of the bosses and just couldn't get myself to continue. The game was just outright hard. There is little, to no, forgiveness either. If you die at the boss, you lose all the souls you gained during that level and get sent back to the beginning. There are NO checkpoints

Beyond the fact that this game is just plain tough, the trophy requirements are unreal. The guides that are out there go into so much depth about this game and how to manipulate things that it becomes a little mind blowing. I ended up giving up on the possibility that I would ever get this platinum.

Well, over 2 years and 100+ platinums later, I figured it was time to get this game done. I hooked up with Hitman1105 who graciously dropped the items needed for the ridiculous trophies and it was up to me to simply finish the game and learn all the spells and miracles. I feel a little guilty about going this route. However, once I was overleveled (SL105... needed to hook up with Hitman for the item drops), the game's difficulty was not as big of a deal. It actually became quite fun when I didn't have to worry that a single hit, from an enemy, would destroy my game, haha.

I may go back and finish up the game on my Mage build to redeem myself... or start over my mage build as I typically like to go the magic user route.

Anywho, if you are going for this platinum legit, you will be required to playthrough the game up to 5 times (depending on if you miss anything or goof up along the way). If you are going the "do everything myself but, not necessarily legit" route, you will need to do, at least, 1.25 playthroughs. If you decide to take the absolute cheapest route, you should be able to accomplish this plat in a single playthrough.

Platinum Difficulty: 9/10 (legit) - 4/10 (with sharing)
Overall Enjoyment: 5/10
