Zombieland 2 Aiming for October 2019 Release with Original Cast
606Vulture interviews ‘Zombieland’ writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick for the press tour of ‘Deadpool 2’ and asked them about the possibility of a ‘Zombieland 2’ coming ten years after the original became a surprise hit. Reese and Wernick have been working on a number of projects in the 10 years since Zombieland (including writng Deadpool 2), but they teased that fans of will not have to wait much longer for a Zombieland sequel. Wernick told Vulture, “We are sitting on information that we can’t entirely share at this moment, but we can just say we think fans of Zombieland who have been hoping for a Zombieland 2, that we will grant their wish very, very soon.” In fact, Wernick also said that he hopes to be shooting in early 2019 for a release in October of 2019.
