The objective here is to defend your Mexican character from the invading zombies. These zombies can't jump so you only have 1 way to win; build crates! Stack these crates and hoist yourself up. The zombies can still ram the crates and destroy them so you need to build again. When you finish a single day, you will be able to unlock certain items. Your partner will help you shoot zombies on both directions.

Overview:
We have a Mexican couple presumably named Papi and Mama Cita although these names could be something that they call each other. The couple is out for a drive when their gas runs out. Coincidentally they stop near a junk year where they can get the gas that thy need. The junkyard though is infested with zombies so the couple has to fend for their lives with guns in hand.
Aesthetics:
The game’s visuals have nicely hand drawn style. The animations are fluent and consistent. In total the aesthetics of the game look good. While it isn’t intentional, the couple does look like your stereotypical Mexican couple which isn’t that bad. There is even a nice little opening cinematic showing the scenes that unfold. The music as well is also good as it has that western style tune. It has been modernized so it sounds like a western zombie apocalypse game which it actually is. The tunes are suited for each scenario specifically for solemn and action modes.
Gameplay:
Zombies Can’t Jump is a survival game but it has its somewhat distinct aspects from all the other zombie survival games out there. There are two modes of game being the normal and survival modes. In the survival mode basically you have access to all the inventory but there will be an endless horde of zombies coming at you. In the normal mode, there are 20 levels that the players have to survive to finish the game. The game is kind enough to give a little tutorial in the beginning. The objective of each level is to simply survive the zombie waves. If one of the characters dies then the level is over and the players can choose to restart with it. When it comes to defending there are two things that the players can do. They either build or use those special abilities. When it comes to building, players must build crates to make their characters go on top of it. The crates act like life bars since the zombies will target them first if the players aren’t within reach. Players can stack up to three crates at a time. This is why it’s useful since zombies can’t jump right? The two characters being Papi and Mama Cita will automatically fire on the zombies. That way all you have to worry about is building or using those abilities. Keep in mind that when building crates, the zombies are still getting close to you hence you have to time it right as to when you will build. When it comes to the special abilities, they will require Survival Points. You can get these points by building the crates or killing zombies. When the game continues, each level completed will grant the player additional special abilities, weapons or different crates that they can use. The levels of course naturally get harder with zombies getting more modified and tougher but you also get your fair share of upgrades as the game goes on.
