The only thing you need to do is to survive as long as you can out there being attacked by countless waves of zombies! Grab weapons inside the crates falling from sky to give you a chance to survive. Collect cool hard cash from the enemies and unlock up to 24 kinds of weapons, ready for combat! Build up that kill counter and try to defeat that big zombie boss. And when they're a little too crowded, you could always trust that handy tequila to burn them up!

Overview:

You’re a guy that looks like you’re coming out of a Quentin Tarantino film. You’re stuck in the desert in the middle of nowhere and zombies are coming out to attack. You’re armed with nothing but your melee weapons, guns and a trusty bottle of tequila. You have to survive the night and even day to keep your skin on from those invading zombies as well as the occasional boss.

Aesthetics:

Tequila Zombies uses a hand drawn animation of visual presentation. The art and display has a darker tone suited for those invading zombies and a nice background having a haunted mansion in it. The music as well sounds something like a modern western action flick that uses rock and roll. The overall aesthetics for the game for both the sound and visual departments are pretty much spot on and suits the game entirely.

Gameplay:

Tequila Zombies is an action game. You control your guy by moving from left to right. Zombies and different types of enemies appear from both sides. It is your job to keep yourself alive from these invaders. You can use your melee weapons by pressing the right button. There are also items that drop on the level. These boxes would range from health boxes to guns. Health boxes recover your health and guns can be equipped which you can use by firing them. They can also press the right button to use the gun as a melee weapon in case the zombies get too close. There are also tobacco bottles that drop, which gives the player to deal twice the damage. There is also the tequila special move where the gauge has to fill up first. Once the gauge is full, the players can use the special move which mostly one hit kills all enemies. Once the move is used, the gauge is depleted and it needs to be filled again. When you’re killed, you will have to start from the beginning however the longer you progress doesn’t mean that you start from the very beginning. The good thing is that players can buy different weapons and power-ups to make their character stronger. These weapons are available for melee range. They would range from axes, chainsaws and many more. There is also a selection of guns to choose from. Guns range from handguns, shotguns, machineguns and the powerful gatling gun. They would have to equip these guns first so that they will drop in the game. Finally we’ll get into some treats with regards to the game. One of the zombies looks like Danny Trejo which is interesting enough. One of the special moves looks like the same thing one of the characters in Desperado did where they use the guitar case as a rocket launcher except in the game, the guitar launcher special launches a lot of rockets and kills every enemy on the screen. Finally when your character dies, he will do the Wilhelm scream which is very obvious and nicely placed.
