"Thrust" for the Spectrum was published by Firebird in 1986. It has a cool title screen which flashed by at light speed on an emulator. Presumably something to do with simulated tape loading being much much much faster than the real thing.

For some reason that I don't understand, I was not able to successfully redefine the keys for this game. I tried every download version that I could track down in a reasonable amount of time, and they all behaved the same. Take a look at the video and you will see what I mean. Because of the super-awkward key-layout, I did not get along with the game very well. Also, the gravity setting is ... intense. I'll have to compare with another version to see if that's just me being whiny.

Still, it's a great game, and it looks really good on the Spectrum. As was common, sound effects are almost non-existent.
