About this video: This video is our complete guide on how to build a $1,500 gaming PC build guide in 2019. Our build will feature an Nvidia RTX 2070 & Intel Core i7-8700K allowing you do to anything you would ever want to do with a gaming PC. From live streaming to Twitch to making YouTube videos to even gaming at a smooth 4k high settings while running at 60FPS, this PC is super versatile and will crush anything you throw at it. Thus, let's go ahead and jump right on into it!
First and foremost, we need to look at our CPU. For this system, we are going with an Intel Core i7-8700K. This overclockable CPU from Intel will give us plenty of gaming, video editing, and live streaming power. We will be pairing it with a Corsair H115i PRO all in one liquid cooler. This CPU cooler will allow for a bit of overclocking without forcing you to deal with all of the annoyances custom water cooling can bring.
This will all be going on a Gigabyte Z390 UD full ATX motherboard that can support up to 64GB RAM, multiple PCI/PCI-e cards, and even has M.2 Storage options. For our RAM though, we are going with two 8GB sticks of G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4-3200 RAM. If there is one area in this build I would recommend upgrading, it is the RAM. You could throw two more 8GB sticks in this machine if you are going to be doing more than just gaming.
From our RAM, let's talk about our hard storage. Well, we are going with a 1TB Western Digital Blue SSD for all of our hard storage in this build. From your OS to your games, it will all be super quick on this 1TB SSD! Next up, we're going to talk about the star of the show - the graphics card. For this build, we are going with the brand new Nvidia RTX 2070 8GB graphics card. This GPU is one of the latest and greatest from Nvidia, and in this build, you will be able to game like a pro for years to come!
We are done just yet though, we still need a power supply and a case. For our case, we are going with an NZXT H500. This case has tons of room for cable management and is going to look incredible in any setup with an awesome side panel that you can see your beautiful system inside with. After that, our PSU is a 750W Thermaltake Smart Pro RGB. This is a super efficient power supply that is also incredibly quiet. Going with a power supply of this side will also allow you to overclock and grow the system in the future!
And there you have it. There is a $1,500 gaming PC build in 2019. This is an awesome build that will not only work great in 2019, but this build will be top of the line for years to come.
