About this video: This video is our step-by-step guide on how to connect an NES Classic to a monitor. No matter what monitor you are using, this video will show you how to hook an NES Classic to it. In this video, we hook an NES Classic up to an Asus monitor, but this will also work on Asus, Acer, BenQ, and any other monitor brands. Let's go ahead and jump on into it!
The first thing that you need to do is plugin up your NES. You should see a red power light on the front when you do. After that, you can get the included HDMI cable that comes with the NES Classic and plug that into the back of the NES. Now, it's time to get it set up with the monitor.
This is also very simple. If you monitor has an HDMI hookup, just plug the HDMI into it. However, how do you connect the NES Classic to a monitor without HDMI? Well, you will need an adapter cable. In the description above, I have cables that allow you use an NES classic with a DVI or DisplayPort connection. Once you have those, put the HDMI end in the NES and the non-HDMI end into your monitor.
At this point, just switch over your monitor, and you are done. That point, you have hooked up and NES Classic to a monitor. Congrats! If you have any questions, please let us know in the comment section below, and be sure to like the video and subscribe to the channel for more awesome content!
