About this video: If you're looking to build a gaming PC for $1,500, this is the video for you. I go over all of the parts you will need to build a gaming PC for less than $1,500! And the best part is that this system will be able to play any modern games at 4K, live stream, and crush any and all VR games that you throw at it. So, let's go ahead and get on into this build.
First off, we are going with an AMD CPU. Specifically, we are going to be throwing in an AMD Ryzen 7 2700X which features 8 cores giving us plenty of power in the processor department. For our cooler, we are sticking with the stock AMD cooler as it is more than good enough to keep this CPU cool even under full load. If you're looking for overclocking, however, you are going to want to add in the AIO watercooler from Corsair we have linked above.
We need a motherboard to put everything in though, and the MSI X470 Gaming Plus motherboard fits the bill perfectly. This will allow us to add up to 64GB of RAM in the future, and it has plenty of PCI and PCI-e slots for any future expansion you want to do. Speaking of RAM though, we are going with two 8GB sticks for 16GB total of G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4-3200MHz RAM. This will we be enough RAM for gaming and you can easily upgrade to 32GB of RAM in future if you need it.
Now, what about our hard storage? Well, I am throwing in a 500GB WD Blue M.2 SSD for our OS, programs, and popular games. For our bigger games and other files though, we are throwing in a 4TB WD Blue 5,400 RPM HDD. This will be tons of storage for any games, programs, and movies that we have.
So we've got most of our main parts, but we're missing a very important one - our GPU. For the graphics card in this system, I am throwing in a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 8GB card. This will allow us to game a 4K, stream, and play virtual reality games without any issues whatsoever. Overall, this is an incredible GPU that will allow us to play any and all games we want.
We still need a case and power supply though. For our case, I went with a NZXT H500. This is a stunning case with great cable management and a huge side window so we can see our beautiful system inside. Speaking of cable management though, we need a 750W power supply, so I went with a 750W EVGA SuperNova G3 PSU that is fully modular. This will be a great power supply and give us plenty of room if we increase our power draw in the future.
And there you have it! That is a $1,500 gaming PC build guide. You now can build your awesome $1,500 PC. With that being said, if this video did help you out, please give it a thumbs up and be sure to subscribe to the channel if you haven't already. It really helps me out, and it means a to me.
