Making a Minecraft server is a bit different on a Mac, and this video shows you exactly how to get it done without any issues whatsoever. We go over every step of the process starting off with download the Minecraft 1.13 server JAR file.
You can find the Minecraft 1.13 server download link in the description above. After that, you need to install the Java SDK. This will allow you to run the server. You can find the Java SDK linked above as well. After that, you just need to run the Minecraft server file, agree to the EULA, and run the server file again. This will create your server.
From here, anyone that is on the same internet connection as you will be able to join the server. If you want your friends to join your Minecraft 1.13 server, however, that is a bit more difficult. You'll need to port forward in order to that, but luckily for you, I walk you through every single step of the process in order to make sure you can get your port forward accomplished.
After your port forward is down, run your server, get your public IP address from Google, and connect to your server with your public IP. Give your public IP to your friends and family who you want to play on your server.
