20 Armoured Brigade in Germany have been celebrating their sixty five years of partnership with the city of Paderborn and its "Schützenverein" or Rifleman's Association. It is a traditional part of life in rural Germany, recognised as the original civil guard and this week the Paderborn branch celebrates its 180th year. The ceremony was held at the town's Schützenplatz where both British Military and German civilian ranks were on parade.
