British Forces News has been given exclusive access to personnel involved in a major exercise over land, sea and air in Cyprus. Last year's Strategic Defence and Security Review confirmed the need to maintain amphibious capability, resulting in the creation of the Response Force Task Group. Exercise Cypriot Lion is its first major exercise and signifies the first time in years that British forces have operated in the amphibious domain on such a large scale.
