This is the 12th and final round of the 2007 Toyota Motocross (450cc) Championship presented by FMF from Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, CA. This is Ricky Carmichael's part-time Motocross season.
Returning contenders like Supercross champ James Stewart, Andrew Short, Tim Ferry, Michael Byrne, 450cc MX rookie Mike Alessi, Davi Millsaps, 2005 125cc champ Ivan Tedesco, 2003 125cc champ Grant Langston, David Vuillemin, Kevin Windham, and 7-time defending champ Ricky Carmichael battle it out for the 2007 Toyota Motocross (450cc) Championship presented by FMF. This outdoor season features a 4-rider battle going down to the wire between Mike Alessi, Tim Ferry, Grant Langston, and Andrew Short. James Stewart drops out of the season after a knee injury he sustained at Washougal in moto #2. 2001 125cc Motocross champ Mike Brown makes a one-off appearance on a CRF450R to keep his national #3 and finishes with an impressive 6-7 for 7th overall. Kevin Windham wins the final moto of 2007 (3rd overall on the day) and says that Glen Helen "could be my last ever race" in his winner interview with Erin Bates. Grant Langston goes for his first ever 450cc Motocross Championship -- his first championship since 2003 (125cc class) on a KTM, and the first for Yamaha since Doug Henry in 1998.
Enjoy.
