1998 Freestyle Motocross Challenge
This is the first ever Freestyle Motocross Challenge from the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, NV.
Freestyle riders like 14-year old phenom Travis Pastrana, former '97 125cc L.A. Supercross winner (and then-Supercross rider at the time) Brian Deegan, Clifford "The Flyin' Hawaiian" Adoptante, "Mad" Mike Jones, Seth Enslow, Spanish transplant Edgar Torronteras, Larry "The Wombat" Linkogle, Carey Hart, then 125cc East Supercross rider Tommy Clowers, the late Mike Cinqmars, and a few others battle it out for pride and bragging rights. This is the first we would hear of the future stuntman Travis Pastrana. This event is well known for Mike Jones breaking the helmet camera off of his helmet after casing a double jump. Commentators are Davey Coombs, 7-time SX/MX champ Rick Johnson, and pit reporter Jerry Bernardo.
Enjoy.
