I say it a lot, and I'll write it here: this game has a lot of Brogue-ish-ness to it. And as I also say a lot in the video, that's perfectly good and I almost wish more games would derive their mechanics from Brogue: such an influence is a benevolent one, granting a developer many well-reasoned designs and features.
I can't tell if there's a huge difference between the classes: I'd wager they're mostly for starting equipment, but it could be that wizards refresh wands and rogues refresh ranged attacks and warriors get better stats (or something along those lines). It doesn't have to be the case, as flavor classes work well too: that way you aren't worried about balancing them off of each other.
If you have a mobile device, this is quite the gem! Play it when you can.
