3 Things you Aren't Doing to Optimize your Cinema 4D Workflow

What'sup Survivalists, It'sCheif from TeamWnJ here to Enhance your Animations and Tell your Story!

This video goes through 3 things you can do to optimize your Cinema 4D workflow for creating Animations. These tips can help you even if you aren't doing Minecraft Animations as they certainly have helped me!

The first tip is to use a separate preview window in as an IPR. Cinema 4D's built in Interactive Render (Preview) Region doesn't require any expensive plugins like Redshift or Octane and can achieve near real time results for the standard or physical render. If you're not using the separate preview window as an IPR, you can also use it as the active camera and enable Enhanced OpenGL for Hardware Renders while your main, working window, can use constant shading.

The second tip is to customize your toolbar with a palette of your favorite tools. I've put 4 tools in my palette; Transfer Tool, Reset Axis, Reset PSR, and Select by Normal Direction from the Selection Tool Plugin.

The third and final tip is to add shortcuts to the various modeling modes of Cinema 4D. It's very odd that Cinema 4D doesn't have built in shortcuts for these modes as they are used very often. I've set my shortcuts to A, S, D, and F as they are right next to each other on the keyboard and often go together.
