3.17 - Ele Helix Ranger (Precise Technique) - A10 Pts+Lab - 3h38m06s
Deathless A10 All Skill Points and Story Lab run using Spectral Helix focusing on elemental damage. Used sword and board instead of other weapon types to enable easier management of accuracy for precise technique and leap slam. The run felt great all the way through even though I did not get too great of flat elemental weapons. I wanted to run spectral helix with precise technique, so swords seemed to be the best option to both help with accuracy and to allow use of preferred movement skill leap slam. Whirling blades can also be used, but requires another travel skill to traverse ledges or gaps, which is why I prefer leap slam over whirling. The build is squishy as it relies on evasion to prevent damage. Because of the way the build ended up pathing, iron reflexes can be taken easily later in run to make the build not reliant on evading.

Gear/Tree At End of Run: https://pastebin.com/meuFUM1m (Looks somewhat different than planned PoB due to forgetting to respec a couple of floater dex passives which made me lose out on the frenzy sword mastery node)

First town regex: r-g|g-r|g-g|g-.-g|corroded|nn
3L+ and 4 socket regex once char is 24: "sockets: .-.-.|([rgbw][ -.]){3}"
Some Questions and Answers
Why not claw nightblade ele helix deadeye?
I wanted to use precise technique, which prevents crits rendering the nightblade not functional. The nightblade build is an absolutely fantastic build and will scale significantly better than this build, but as a leveling option with some tweaking a precise technique version can be used to lead into the nightblade claw ele helix build.
Why not dual wield?
Its easier to get 1 good flat ele weapon than 2. Moreover, if there is a significant damage disparity between your weapons, you'll lose damage DW over using sword and board.
Why long mule?
I wanted to get ancestral protector (as its not available on ranger until library or lily) and I wanted to show another variation of how to start leveling. You do not need to long mule or even mule. Instead using decoy totem will work perfectly fine, I just really prefer to have ancestral protector whenever I can and the long mule is not inconvenient as it gives me an extra change via getting level 3 to check vendor for good gear links
Whats up with your ancestral protector links?
I planned to keep it simple with ancestral protector and just use whatever was on hand, so in this case it was chance to bleed. In my planned PoB, I just have it as a singleton instead of linking it anywhere, this is partly due to just making sure I can have the bare minimum to get setup functional. You can and should link DPS gems to it. At the very least, I should have gotten culling strike for the totem at some point. I could have done this efficiently when I went back to A2 to get trinity and ele damage with attacks from Yeena for my 4L helix.
