40 Winks (PC) - MortaPlay [Part 11: Drip Drop Swamp and Prehistoric Race]

Hello, you bunch of ol’ dinosaurs! For this episode on 40 Winks, we’re diving into Drip Drop Swamp, then we’ll race a big wasp!
This level hides red keys and two Winks!
In these marshes, we’ll encounter some pesky flying bugs, triceratops, and witch doctors… Yes, the latter are a very dubious choice when they have no connection to prehistory…
This is the most complicated map to explore in this world, since it can easily pull you in all directions, whether on land or underwater!
The most cryptic bit is that an essential part to progress is hidden under some barely noticeable fragile ground in a cave! This questionable level design decision is worsened by the fact that the related ability of the monster transformation hasn’t been used in a very long time and so you may have forgotten about it… The ninja also makes an appearance, so you may cling to some vines.
Even though I was pretty lost, I still really liked this place with its fresh and wild atmosphere, and its distinct open structure! On the other hand, the framerate has just perished in this dreadful PC version! :’)
The race was rather nice too, with its own set of alternative paths!
Next time, we’ll put an end to this very ancient era by plundering the Tippy Toe Temple and giving Nitekap’s cave bear a good beating with a big club! Unga bunga!
