452. Eila and Something Shiny Chapter 1 wrapup - Various Failures

2:30 NO it turns out that each chapter has its own chapter cards.
The only cards that persist are habits and equipment.
It's unclear whether resources on the equipment (in later chapters) are retained, I think not, since mechanically you leave everything behind and "move on".
3:05 no, you should sort the cards first by color/number, then put them in the 1-box.
3:50 Well, accoring to the rulebook, you only preserve acquired Habit and item cards.
But I don't find that thematic - as if your future dissolved. Playing as I do makes the game days last much longer (more upcoming cards) but also easier. I'll keep playing this way but next playthrough use the official ruling.
4:40 they're called support cards and start to appear in chapter 2, as well as the dice...
4:50 Eila's backpack only can contain habits, items and support. Habit and item do not have any correspondence with the icons on her tuckbox.
4:55 I keep the acquired Future cards in eila's backpack for now.
6:40 I broke my own rule to not buy first editions because Ice Makes doesn't appear to support this product at all.
9:00 the leaf and tree weren't that intrusive, but the wheel is just the icon for separating the chapter cards quickly when resetting the campaign.
Important note: much later I found on bgg the 2.2 rulebook that answers most of these questions. Why on earth Ice Makes puts it behind a wall in bgg instead of simply hosting it on his own website is totally beyond me.
