5Food delivery aggregators are back in focus. We have all faced issues when ordering food at 2 in the morning from Swiggy or Zomato. We have all been in conversation with an executive from the company to get our refunds. In fact, in the last 12 months, the national consumer helpline received more than 6 thousand 400 complaints against just Zomato and Swiggy. Now, the Department of Consumer Affairs has directed major e-commerce Food Business Operators to furnish the current framework as well as a proposal on improving the consumer grievance redressal mechanism within 15 days.
