4It's is the year 2217.01.02 and the Human Commonwealth is vastly expanding its diplomatic relations. Two new research treaties and a non-aggression pact with the Diri Diplomatic Colonies should secure our position and allow us to expand to the galactic south unhindered.
Important steps in this direction are establishing our colony on Viriak Prime and an observation outpost in the Viriak system. This system is home to some primitive aliens that are about to make their first steps in exploring their solar system. It will be quite a shock for them to find themselves neighbouring our colony on Virial Prime. When the time comes, we will integrate them into our empire one way our the other!

We are playing the Human Commonwealth on insane difficulty in a huge spiral Galaxy (1000 stars). Other galaxy settings are on standard. Our humans are intelligent, weak and quick learners. The government is indirect democracy with a focus on individualism and fanatic materialism. Our FTL method is hyperspace travel.
