About this video: This video is a complete build guide showing you how to build a $550 budget Hackintosh that will allow you to easily install MacOS. This build is designed to be the easiest budget Hackintosh that you can build in 2018. We do this by using very common Hackintosh'd parts, so if you run into an issue, You are able to easily get support to fix it.
What is that easily Hackintoshable hardware? Well, for the CPU, we are going with an Intel Core i3-8100. This CPU is paired with our motherboard which is an MSI H370M BAZOOKA motherboard which offers tons of upgradability in regards to RAM and graphics in the future. Speaking of RAM we are going with 8GB of RAM from Patriot. This is DDR4-2133Mhz RAM. For hard storage, we are going with a WD Caviar Blue 1TB HDD, and our GPU is a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti.
This GPU paired with our CPU results in an 8% bottleneck meaning we have almost no chance of any bottlenecking occurring on this system. We still need a case and power supply though, and for our case, we are going with a Rosewill SCM-01, and for the PSU, we are throwing in a 550W Corsair TXM Gold certified power supply. This PSU will also give us tons of overhead for upgrades in the future.
