About this video: In this video, I show you everything that you need to know about starting a Minecraft 1.13.2 server. This is a step-by-step guide going everything from download the Minecraft 1.13.2 server file to installing everything you need for a Minecraft server to then making that server joinable by your friends. Everything is covered in this video, so let's go ahead and jump into it!

First and foremost, you need to download the #MinecraftServer file for 1.13.2. This can be found at the link above. Once you have the file downloaded, it is time to get it installed. This is simple. Just create a new notepad document and paste the codes that are in the description above. Then, save the files as a 'Run.bat' file. Make sure 'all files' is selected in the 'save type as' dropdown.

Now, double-click on this run.bat you just created. The server will fail to open. Now, open up the EULA document and change EULA=false to EULA=true. Save and then double click on the run.bat file again. This will open your 1.13.2 server. At this point though, you can't play with your friends. We need to port forward in order to do that.

I know a lot of people don't like to port forward, but it is super simple. We have articles on logging into your router and port forwarding on all of the most popular routers currently on the market. Thus, you will be able to port forward no matter what. After your port forward is complete, launch your #Minecraft server, and go to the link in the description above to get your IP address.

Join Minecraft using your public IP address, and congrats your server is running. You can give your public IP address to your friends and family who you want to join your server.
